About the Piece:

An excellent quality, late 20th-century Ercol Windsor 3-door 2-drawer sideboard made from solid elm (very heavy!). The sideboard offers a large storage cupboard to the left with a single height-adjustable shelf and double-opening doors, and to the right, a single-opening door gives access to a useful cutlery drawer. There are 2 large drawers underneath the cupboards. The cabinet has plain sides with visible dovetail joins on the rounded corners and stands on the original Ercol adjustable castors to compensate for uneven floors. The doors are fitted with the trademark stylish oval inset handles. The Ercol blue badge can be seen on the inside of one of the doors. This fabulously versatile and stylish cabinet is part of the popular Natural Elm Windsor range, manufactured by Ercol in High Wycombe, England. It has attractive elm-wood graining throughout and would sit nicely with other matching Ercol Natural Elm items of furniture. It has been cleaned and re-polished and would enhance any home. The model number is 468. Naturally, this vintage item will have some signs of wear consistent with age and use.

FINAL NOTE

All our work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. We source quality pieces of outdated & unwanted pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways. As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but we believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which we hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.
